Return + Canon Update!

Soooo those few days turned into one Hellishly long month, huh? To anyone who's forgotten (:P), I'm Sho, I play Dick Grayson of DC Comics, and to any new players, hi! and welcome to the game o7

I know I'll have missed A LOT, but don't worry! I'm not asking for a bothersome recap as I'm sure I can catch up on the missed shenanigans over my next few days of house arrest (...or 'horse' arrest as I originally wrote.)

I know I planned to have Dick do a lot over the month of December, which, thanks to my hiatus of epic proportion I had to skip out on. Once again I offer my apologies to those inconvenienced by this.

I will be throwing up a post on Dick's personal journal dealing with the escapades of the turtledoves, a link to which will shortly follow if anybody is interested in that. It's more for personal amusement than anything, but if anyone would like it to be game centred, I have absolutely no qualms about posting a backlog to the logging community. Just let me know.

As for offering an explanation to Dick's whereabouts over the holiday period... see here. Yup. That's right. A statue.

When the majority of y'all got spirited away for Christmas, Dick was one of the ones who stayed behind and turned into, well, a toy. When everything returned to normal, Dick, well, didn't.

So for the past 2 weeks, he's been on his bedside table, posing as an inconspicuous, 9 inch tall, Batman collectable.

During this lapsed period on time, he'll have received a canon update as well. I'll be picking him up from after Batman and Robin 16, which means that he'll be coming back to us with the knowledge that Bruce Wayne is alive and well and back in present time, and after the unveiling of Batman Incorporated, but not so long after that the gaping gunshot wound to the back of his skull has had time to heal fully.

I'll throw up a post in a day or so that'll deal with Dick coming back to his full-grown, fully automated self, but in the meantime, I was wondering whether anyone would have been kind enough to take his miniature out for a walk, or maybe take advantage of his already above average - but only improved by his inability to offer any sort of advice - listening skills? Bearing in mind that he won't actually be able to hear anything because of his state of unconsciousness, feel free to have had your characters spill absolutely anything to him.

Alrighty then, I know I have outstanding tags, so if anyone is interested in backtagging those just let me know and I'll get on them ASAP, and likewise let me know if you're interested in backtagging the turtledove kisses, or anything else really.

Shizuru here is going on a loss, a silly, nonsensical one.

Have some background. Sunrise, Circus and their pals seem to think having her revealed at the last minute (in canon) or added as a new character (in updates to the games) is a Fun Idea. So I'm going to run with it.

For...let's say one week after the first post goes up, she will be appearing out of nowhere as a task is being completed. Washing machine on its last cycle? She'll find herself in the laundry room. Did the microwave just ding? She'll walk in through the kitchen door. And so on.

I am keeping this to her posts only, rather than jacking threads that are getting completed, for obvious reasons. However, if you would like to volunteer your character(s) to have someone walk in on them, please leave a message here/contact me.
