Mini-hiatus end!

And with that, I come back with another character -- don't look at me like that. Daily here, introducing 5 from Shane Acker's 9. The crew is a blast to read, I really couldn't resist throwing this app in.

Anyway! That aside, 5 is arriving in Paradisa after his last encounter with the Fabrication Machine and sans his memories of 2. .

A little rundown of 5; 6 is the crazy artist, 7 is the resident badass and 5 is the woobie. He usually alternates between peacemaker and big brother but he's got his cool moments. He jokes about only having one eye but, truth be told, it doesn't hinder him much. He's an excellent marksman so even if he might not have brute strength on his side, he isn't useless.

I'll intro him as soon as I take a well-deserved nap since I.. uh haven't been to sleep yet. Sob. It took every fiber of my being to resist making his journal name sirscreamsalot.

WELL HELLO THERE, Paradisa. Me-ow.

This is Ang, with my newest reason for this community needing a 12-step program... Dr. Thaddeus S. Venture. Call him Rusty, call him TS, call him whatever. He is here to fill the castle with superscience, general wrongness, and delicious failure. He's current in canon (after 4x08, "Pinstripes & Poltergeists"), and his loss is his ability to ask the castle for diet pills. He will receive tic-tacs instead, which, as Megan so aptly put it, will make him "MINTY FRESH AND INCREDIBLY PEEVED".

Sadly, in order for this bucket of failtastic awesome to arrive, I have dropped Ash Williams ... he's gone home to be a retail slave and fight demons. But trust me, this guy is just as annoying, if not moreso. He will probably be trolling you all like nobody's business.

This is Megan (Magda's player), proving how addictive this place is already by bringing you suave GQMF/world's smartest man Adrian Veidt from Watchmen.

This one is the movie version, which means less SMILING ALL THE TIME AUGH and more being sulky and pissy even as he pwns you. And daddy issues, considering it's behind-the-scenes moviecanon that his dad was a Nazi and that severely screwed Adrian up as a kid. Not that anybody who's simultaneously so narcissistic but self-loathing and is willing to let millions die if it means the remaining billions of people on earth stay alive is going to qualify as not screwed up even without having had an unpleasant Nazi father.

But anyway, here he is, prettier/smarter/generally better than you at everything, and also nearly 47 but looking barely 30 and quite aware of this. His loss is that he can't be photographed, which is going to be a major cramp in his whole relentless self-marketing schtick. I am open for all kinds of plot, and his ridiculous way of being an executive/superhero/antihero/antivillain/author/philanthropist/scientist/WHATEVER makes it so that pretty much whatever's needed to be done with him can be done.

(ps I consider him pretty much omnisexual even if he considers himself gay-but-with-more-important-things-to-think-about-than-sex. Denial ain't just a river in Egypt, Adrian.)

Cross Marian Debt Fund: Week 73

Hey everyone! It's Sunday so it's time for the seventy-third week of the Cross Marian Debt Fund mini game!

For those who need a reminder, or are looking at this post like I just told you the woods were full of zombie wolves, the information can be found here!

Now lets get to this week! It was a fairly quiet week. Only Lavi achieved a FAIL for the week and there were no trumps. Meanwhile Lucy was dead and Django got sick making him unable to participate. Get better soon Django and...hope you're not so dead soon Lucy!

As for Battle of the Bars it seems that under the management of Shayera and Ryoki, Team Deathmatch has done very well for itself! It managed to sweep the competition in a definite win this week with Team Bonsai trailing far behind in second place. Unfortunately it seems that Chie must have been slacking off waitressing wise, for Team Caritas fell into last place yet again week. Ouch guys. Ouch.

The basic concept is this. Currently we have a lot of things that happen in Paradisa that go unnoticed unless they get their own post in the comm or the OOC when potentially they should get some notice. Villainous characters kill townspeople in gruesome ways on a regular basis, stores hold bake sales every Saturday, aspiring mad scientists post a help wanted sign by their lab for a minion- things like that. If people are in favor of it, these post would cover those things and more for the sake of plotting and CR ideas for characters.

So please take a minute or two and vote! And if you wish to discuss it or ask quesitons, feel free to use this post.

This is Tim Hunter from The Books of Magic (Vertigo comics). He technically exists within the DC universe, but has never shown up because, uh, DC and Vertigo aren't. Very. They don't, uh. Look, I don't know, they just don't go together anymore except apparently for Kid Eternity. In any case, he has the potential to be the world's greatest magician of his age (SORRY ZACHARY) — to be able to create whole other worlds — but right now he's fourteen and inexperienced and also he put a magical binding on himself so he can't do a lot of magic. BUT that may change in the future...

He's also British and occasionally looks like Harry Potter but he's not, shut up.

Peter's been quiet since he pissed Sylar off. I wonder where he could be? Well.... he's sort of been lying in a remote part of the castle grounds with a tree branch stuck in his head. Yeah, his fight with Sylar got a little messy. And Sylar is there too with a knife stuck in his head.

Someone should probably move them.

Yeah. Sylar and Peter got in a fight and "killed" each other, and they're going to be out for a few days. While they're out they're going to be back home, so when they return they're both getting new canon points. Up to the end of episode 18 "The Wall", where they break out of said wall and back to the real world.

Also, if someone could take the objects out of their heads (especially Peter since he'd die for realz if it wasn't removed once he gets back from his trip home)... they'd sure appreciate it.

Somewhere, beyond the sea~

Hey, everybody!  I'm Chris and I'll be bringing you...this guy!  Subject Delta/Johnny Topside!
I've never played in Paradisa before, and this is my first game in quite a long while, but so far I really am looking forward to playing with all of you.

[Spoiler Alert?]
Canon-wise, I'm taking him from the very end of Bioshock 2, assuming the 'Good Ending' is canon, and the choices involved in it are as well.  (Who lives, who died, rescuing or harvesting Little Sisters, all that business.)  He'll be losing any memory of the past 10 years (1958-1968), so his arrival at the castle will be double-disorienting!  He may not have a physical need to be near Eleanor, but he doesn't know that!  Last he saw her, she was still like 8, and leaving her side meant going into a coma/dying/being driven insane.

So once he recovers and gets his feet on the ground, he'll be trundling the halls trying to find her.
He's not a bad guy, not a genius, but no idiot, and as long as you don't mean to get between him and Eleanor, everything will be fine and dandy.  Any questions/bereavement, feel free to leave me a comment.
