New Character~

Herit here again, this time introducing Radu from Trinity Blood. For starters, I'm not going with the "Barvon" translation of his last name, because 1) makes no sense with the katakana, 2) is not a real word/name, while "Barufon" (the more direct translation) is and makes sense for his ethnicity. ... that probably interested nobody, but thought I'd say it. XD

I guess Trinity Blood is not that well-known or popular, so a little intro: The boy (18 - seriously) is a Methuselah, or, to most "humans" in Trinity Blood, a "vampire". He, in return, like all of his people, calls humans "Terran". Trinity Blood has no magic or supernatural things like that, other than technology - hence, the vampirism stems from alien nanomachines in a person's bloodstream. Infection is unlikely (and mostly results in non-lethal or lethal brain-damage), unless you are born that way. As for stats, those vampires tend to naturally be at least ten times as strong and agile as a human, with regeneration and a "Haste" mode, in which by straining their nerves, they can literally move faster than the human eye perceives for a while. But, of course, that's quite exhausting. Most vampires also can transform their hands to claws, and some have added special abilities. Radu? Is considered physically strong (despite being a thin teenager) and in physical combat quite powerful, because he belongs to a subrace called Ifrit - as the name suggests, with the ability to create fire in their palms. The palm itself is fire-resistant, the fire 80 times as strong as napalm, blue, spreading fast, and a bitch to extinguish. There are several ways to seriously wound or kill a Methuselah: 1) silver (both deactivates the Bacillus temporarily and is poisonous enough to kill in more than small doses), 2) sunlight (takes less than three minutes to kill one, at direct exposure, sends the nanomachines in hyper-mode so that they start to eat the body from the inside, while the vapour created in the process looks like smoke, so that it appears the vampire is burning), 3) untreated "Thirst". Thirst means, of course, thirst for blood. TB-vampires have that craving rarely, only every few days, but if they don't act on it (mostly with haemoglobin pills dissolved in water, since direct blood-sucking is considered barbarous), it grows worse, and at last, they lose control, or, if even then they can't get to blood, the nanomachines inside them, which are really the ones that live on blood, start eating them from the inside.

Sorry for TL;DR, that was probably all. D: Right, for what he lost? His memory of Dietrich, while he does remember everything he did. Hence, he'll believe it was all by his own free will. ♥

My uncle's pyro bitch friend has arrived. :/

Dunno, he'll probably TAKE ADVANTAGE NOBODY KNOWS HIM.

Except Caterina who is Orden and "ally" anyway.

Hey, don't disenchant him, he only knows the NICE novel-version. DDD: If he met the manga-version... that'd be confusing. And probably unhealthy. >>

[identity profile] clemently.livejournal.com 2008-03-14 02:35 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm MOSTLY going with the novel version myself. ;) But manga icons are prettier? (Not to mention, there's like 4 Novel!Shahr images. Woe).

You know what's funny? How Shahr remembers the NICE NOVEL version Süley in Act. 39 which makes NO SENSE. Like somebody replace Süley. He maybe ALIVE somewhere. ;;

LAWL. XXD YOU NEEDS AN EVIL PLOT YES? Hell yes. Bond other setting things on fire?

What do you take me for? LIKE I'D STRIP HIM OF ANY OF THAT! He wouldn't be Nari without those things. D:

[identity profile] clemently.livejournal.com 2008-03-14 02:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe he got drunk? LIKE REALLY DRUNK. He's like Jesus in Shahr flashback/explaining stuff to Esther. Remember Act. 39? There is addressed FINALLY that Süley was a Terran-lover and taught Shahr the same. Now you can take the Terran lover thing in another context with Esther and her holding hands as if was the most natural thing in the world in Act. 40.

I think he and Ion got bitten by some stupid, mental bug?

Then again, look at manga!Esther, she recovers her novel-like personality after she meets Shahr. MAYBE IS SHAHR.

JUST TELL ME ABOUT IT WHEN YOU WANT IT TO GO DOWN BABEH. We is evil partners in crime, yes? XD FIRE IS FIRE. BLUE JUST MEANS IT'S SUPAH-HOT. *_*

...oh my. That would be... very very evil of me. XD I was thinking of making him forget Yukimura and Kanetsugu (couldn't make him forget Sakon, that would be too much XD). HMMM.

[identity profile] clemently.livejournal.com 2008-03-14 02:53 pm (UTC)(link)
LOLOLOLOL. I don't think it was said before. I'll have to check, though. Yes, it was. Made me weepy too because you KNOW what will happen to Shahr in the end.

Both acting as mental cases/jerks in the Manga. :/

That's true, but is the first arc she's becoming more novel-like. Kiyo's getting better in adapting (even if Monica looks like a stripper, she's still HOT) which is a relief for the Albion arcs... in which she NEEDS her novel steel.

When one goes into royalty 'violent and a bit batshit' is a bit par for the course. <3 *has them, actually, has started > >* The anime is pretty but I don't tend to pay attention to it.

Yes! <3 Well. He travels in time and space, is the main thing? ...He met Radu in a totally brilliant omg audio play. They got on quite well. Eventually.

XD Remus could use more of those! What with his up and dying on him.

[identity profile] clemently.livejournal.com 2008-03-14 03:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Nope. *HUGS* ;;

I know he IS. And Act. 39 is loveable in the uncle/granpa way. You don't understand how come Shahr's so sweet and cute if her uncle was a crazy jerk. ._. Because he wasn't, really. >>; Yes, I think Manga!Süleyman IS interesting (as opposed to Manga!Ion who is annoying, although not as much as Anime!Esther), still doesn't explain how he is Shahr's model to follow because she ISN'T crazy bitch. XD

Her shoes are so COOL. With the spiderweb? Such a nice touch.
