it's a tennant invasion
Hola! It's Kristyn (Eight/Turlough/Omega-mun) bringing in a new -- and non-Who -- character! (Also played by David Tennant. XD)
This is Arthur Eddington, from the awesome movie Einstein and Eddington. He's the director of the Cambridge Observatory, a Quaker, and a brilliant astrophysicist, as well as the first person to prove Einstein's theory of General Relativity. And, being from 1919, he comes complete with that time's sense of repression, owing in part to the fact that he's a closeted homosexual.
He's been taken from after he's photographed a solar eclipse in Africa, but before he publicly proves Einstein's theory, and his loss is the knowledge of who Einstein is -- he just remembers he was helping some random German scientist.
My AIM is tea and space, if anyone ever wants to plot/chat/poke me with a stick/whatever. :3
