EVENT HORIZON
Congratulations guys, things are going to start getting really shitty really quickly. Residents are assaulted by hallucinations that are so real, they're indistinguishable from reality. They see their greatest fears, their deepest regrets standing in front of them: in the movie a man sees his wife who committed suicide, another man sees the boy that he left behind in a fight, a woman sees her child dying of sickness and so on. Whatever they hallucinate about, the subjects of their hallucinations will be twisted and cruel shadows of the reality they are based on. The hallucinations will try to convince those suffering from them to harm themselves or others. Each hallucination is unique to each character, and only they can see it. Many residents have the mental fortitude to cope with this, but... well, the ship has special interest in a few residents.

This is your chance for your character to be completely corrupted by the ship. This can be either because of their own mental frailty, or due to a little meddling from the supernatural powers of the ship. These residents will act mentally unstable (much like the poor souls who were dragged through the portal), and believe that if they activate the ship's gravity core, it would be best for everyone. This is far from true.

If you wish to have your character just deal with the hallucinations, you just sit back and enjoy the ride. If you want your character to be completely corrupted by the ship, please SIGN UP HERE. Comments are screened, to give a sense of surprise of who has completely gone ka-ka. There are no limits to the number of characters being corrupted, but bear in mind you will need your uncorrupted shipmates to save you later. So chose wisely.

LEWIS AND CLARK
Well, damn, things sound even worse from chatter over the journals now over on the Event Horizon, don't they? What's worse is, if those crazy people manage to activate the gravity core, the Lewis and Clark will be sucked into the portal WITH the Event Horizon. They will need to get the ship ready ASAP.
Today residents here will get a message from the previous crew of the Event Horizon, shedding some light on that mysterious portal and a way to get your friends out.

There will be two (2) IC mingle posts today, one for each vessel. They will go up at around 7:00PM GMT. Players are welcome to make their own journal posts, too. As always, if your character is going to die, please make note of the death rules and get mod approval for it on the character update page before it can ICly takes place.

Please note that she does have her powers! So if your character's going to be hard to fight, she'll be the one to end needed!

Okay. Blues isn't going to kill anyone, but he's certainly up to injure or brawl with anyone he comes across.

If anyone wants their character axe-murdered strangled killed by Anne, she is very capable as she will be in mama bear mode. She will probably opt for strangling with a wire, bare hands, or turning the other person's own weapon on them if they have one. xoxo!

Gale won't be able to kill anyone, but he will gladly beat up anyone who needs beatings for whatever reason, once he starts thinking they're Capitol Peacekeepers here to fuck with his family.

Muraki really really needs to kill or injure SOMEBODY. Once the hallucinations kick in he will be angry and violent. He can outright attack your character, but keep in mind that he is not an especially good fighter and I don't have any plans for him to be killed personally. That said, he has the anatomical knowledge to kill effectively and quickly, or, if you prefer, drug and torture you maybe??? Alternatively, he's manipulative enough to maybe trick your character into a hazardous situation and kill them that way (long shove off a catwalk, into the meat grinder, out the airlock, etc....)

You want someone to finish you off? Ashura is your guy! Trained in combat, and his hallucinations will involve combat situations anyways, so likely hood of attack? Very high! He'll find something to do the stabbing with, promise.

Peter is available for a wide range of attacks, from minor injury to death. He's been shown to have proficiency with daggers/knives and nailguns. Plus... you know. Nurse. Syringes, scalpels, etc.

Sherlock is going to be very easily provoked into violence, so if you need some moderate to severe injury, I'm up for it. Straight up killing might be harder, depending on the character, but I'm not necessarily opposed to it! We can talk it out.

DEATH AND/OR INJURY?

Bladewolf, being that he is a robot with a strong moral code and immense strength of will, will not be succumbing to the hallucinaations. HOWEVER, he will be attempting to guard the Gravity Drive as best he can, trying to prevent it's activation, and will engage anyone who comes close to it in combat. He pulls his punches, but isn't afraid to kill if it comes right down to it. All he's armed with are high-freqency stiletto knives, which vibrate fast enough to melt stone and most harder metals, but he'll only use them as a last resort, otherwise he's just a big, metallic wolf.

Offering Clow for horrible ritualistic maiming and/or death. He knows a number of blood and death magic rites (which usually he doesn't cross the line into actually doing), and will be seeking out people to enact them on.

Of course, without powers, they won't do anything, but they'll be prety horrible :')

Here, have a Ruby! She's going to fall more into an animalistic/instinctual type of crazy. While she's not a wolf, she remembers the wolf instincts and may end up becoming pretty feral because of it. She'll use knives, her fists, possibly her teeth as well if she can get close enough. PM me if you'd like to chat things over. :3

Injury?

Yo. Vicious isn't even that particularly far gone, all things considered, but casual violence is a go. So, you know, if you're interested in having your character's skull bounced off a bulkhead but maybe don't want them dead completely, he'd be good for you.

I am also open to someone maiming the crap out of him, in return, if they would so like. He's good with bladed weapons, and has probably acquired one from medical by now, but he's still plenty vulnerable.

Gary will be hallucinating that he's reliving the monster purge from the movie. I'm not up for him getting killed but if anybody wants to badly maim him then its all good.

Injury

Late, but I'm fine with Faye causing and receiving injury to or from whoever she encounters. She's decent with hand-to-hand combat, and she's pretty capable of fracturing a few bones. Also, she may shoot you.

Chell's untrained, as far as fighting goes, and she won't kill anybody. But she has fists, she has tenacity, and she can use both. So, if you want to have the crap punched out of you, then by all means!

Who's up for getting hurt by makeshift traps left around the ship? They are probably going to be quite gruesome (Spikes under a hole on the floor, heavy falling objects, etc we can work it out). I can have Lucrezia waiting around the place to laugh at them or they can react with their own CR. Either is fine by me~

She can still just do it old style and try to stab you too, yes.

Actually, I've been trying to think what would make Ib drop her rose, and this seems like it might work nicely. Like, she's running from a hallucination, she barely avoids a trap, she drops her rose in the process. Lucrezia wouldn't have to be present for it. :3

SEEING HOW I WOKE UP TO LOTS OF BLOOD AND GORE- who is a medic on the Event Horizon that is not dead or crazy (or at least not crazy enough not to function)? Anyone? Bueller?

Or if your character needs medical attention, this is a good place to try to seek it out!

If you want a good idea about realistic injuries, they can be found here. This one is another good reading as well. Choose wisely depending on if you want your character to still function, be incapacitate or die (which still needs mod permission).

Also the medics might need guards, just saying. There was already a gunfight in the clinic yesterday.

As for my guy, Allen's been studying medicine and working in the clinic for about over a year now. He should be able to help out with a lot of the injuries, though yeah he's only a student so stuff like extensive surgery or life saving miracles are out.

...Also idk how they are for blood for transfusions. Does the ship have any spare blood that's not on the walls? Y e a h.
