paradisaooc | Lux Noir - Opt-In Mini Plot ] [ aka: Happy Birthday, Steve Rogers!

The 4th of July is Steve Roger's Birthday. Jo will be talking a lot about it building up to the date, but July 1st the castle will take a firmer approach to the celebration.

Firmer approach meaning, The Lux will be turning into a bar from the 40s around the WWII era. It will have that sepia tone to the lighting and it will just feel like you've stepped into a flashback scene from a movie or TV show. You can't explain it, but it feels like the 40s.

To help you along, the moment you step into the Lux your clothing is magically transformed to clothing from the 40s. It's vintage noir. Walk in? 40s. Walk out? Whatever you were wearing before can come back if you are all: "Ugh, no thank you." Characters are welcome to keep the outfit on until they get back to their room and change if they want that sort of thing to happen.

On the 4th of July, starting at 5:01PM, the Lux will hold a Victory Day Party -slash- Birthday Party for Steve. There will be fireworks that night and a dance, that will naturally be themed to the 40s again. The dance will be at the Lux, so the castle will just change the Lux that night to be a dance hall from the 40s.

TL;DR?

July 1st to 4th 5PM - Step back in time. Entrance to the Lux changes clothing to the 40s and the bar is themed/set-up like a bar from the 40s.

July 4th 5:01PM - 3:00AM - Dance Hall and Fireworks outside the back patio where people would be "smoking" etc.

July 5th 3:01AM - 7th 11:59PM - Bar returns to the 40s theme and all the prior clothing add-ins get placed back onto it.

July 8th 12:00AM - Done!

Note: There will be other small things added into this ON the Fourth of July, which is Steve's birthday, but I don't want to ruin all the surprises!!

So what we should all take away from this is someone has to teach Steve to dance on his birthday. Who wants to get their feet stepped on????
